Apple’s iOS 4 has come up with plenty of new exciting features and here are some of them that’s really worth mentioning.
Key iOS 4 Features:
1: Multitasking: This feature enables you to run different applications in the background and to switch between them instantly.
2: Folders: Folders lets you organize number of apps under one place called folders, with drag-and-drop simplicity. It will definitely help you in arranging your apps and other stuff in a more organized way.
3: iBooks: iBooks is a really a great app that you can get for free from iTunes store to read pdf files on your iPhone OS device. Earlier iBooks was available to iPad, but now its available on any iPhone & iPod with iOS 4.
iBooks offers a beautiful bookshelf where your PDF files appear, as shown in the screenshot above. To open any book simply tap it, flip through pages with a swipe or a tap, and bookmark or add notes to your favorite passages.
4: Unified Inbox and Threaded Email: This feature will come in handy to you if have more than one email accounts setup on your iPhone.
Unified inbox will contain all your incoming mails, which are associated with your different email accounts, arranged in a chronological order at one place. Also you can organize messages by threads and open attachments in third-party apps.
5: Wireless Keyboard Support: Conventional keyboards are always great to type on. This wireless keyboard support feature allows your iPhone to be paired with a keyboard with the help of Bluetooth wireless technology.
6: Better Spell Check: iPhone has got a small touchscreen keyboard so pelling mistakes occur quite often. To account for them iOS 4 has got a system wide built-in dictionary that automatically suggests words and corrects spelling. It works in Mail, Notes, and other apps.
7: Tap to Focus Video: While shooting video, tap the display to choose where to focus.
8: 5x Digital Zoom: Now you can get more closer to your subjects with 5x Digital Zoom.
